Effective ways for quick weight loss
When we think about losing weight we have to go on a diet…its true in a sense but we don’t go on a diet pursay, we make changes in our diet and our lifestyle. It is hard to go cold turkey, stop eating junk food and switching to healthy food. What works better is gradually swopping sweets for a healthy sweet option, such as instead of ice cream, choose frozen yogurt or fruit bars .These are much better , lower in sugar, calories and fat and they taste great! Another way is to swop a candy bar with a fiber one bar or brownie. I’ve had them and they are delicious.
It’s still important to eat a diet high in protein, lean meats like lean, boneless and skinless chicken, fish, pork is ok to have as well, a lot of the darker green vegetables, leafy greens, bright veggies such as the mild peppers, orange and yellow are better….the brighter the better. Veggies should have the largest portion on your dinner plate. This will help to you to feel satisfied longer and not wanting to snack as often along with drinking water or milk with each meal.
Another way is by drinking smoothies and when you make them at home, they’re more nutritious, you avoid the added sugar, and they’re fun to make. Smoothies are great to have between meals to help keep you feeling satisfied and stay away from the bad snack items such as potato chips, candy bars, french fries and so on. Add berries-strawberries, raspberries, other fruit like kiwi and apples. Add veggies such as broccoli, celery ,kale and dark leafy greens, this will fill you up and keep you satisfied so you don’t snack on the foods you shouldn’t. Add more fruit to your smoothie if you don’t want to taste the vegetables as much.
I have a question, what are you losing when changing your diet and lifestyle? You’re not losing anything by giving up the bad foods but gaining a healthy and longer life and lose the weight faster. It takes a little time for the weight to come off , but by switching the junk food with the healthy options and a diet high in protein and low carbs, you will see the weight come off quickly.
Its important to remember too that crash diets and starving ourselves doesn’t work to lose weight. The body needs the nutrients to function properly. If we don’t eat a balanced diet , we’re risking long term health problems. When not eating enough the body goes into starvation mode , in turn this slows down the metabolism and put weight back on. For quick and effective weight loss eat healthy and exercise. This will result in quick weight loss and be able to keep the weight off in the long run.

Working out 3-4 days a week is sufficient enough. It’s not necessary to work out 6 days a week. The body actually needs to rest. Research shows that excessive exercise can actually tear the heart muscle. It’s good to take a break from working out just as important as getting enough sleep at night.
